Hi. I'm Paul. Welcome to my blog

Welcome back, lot's of news

Welcome back.

There's lots of news as it's been so long since we updated the site!

Eline ( Paul's wife) aka Mrs Hunter has now joined the business fully and is mainly covering all the sales locally so customers will be seeing a new friendly face, and I am keen to work very closely and get to know all our local businesses.

I also have ALOT more patience and time than Paul to deal with the website and other technical stuff so I'll do my best to keep Blogs upto date and look out for us on Facebook and Twitter.

The biggest change to Hunter's Brewery since the new year is the size. We now have 2 units at the farm and are producing Bottled Ale as well as the kegs. There is a small team working for Hunter's now with a delivery driver, apprentice in the brewery and a sales rep.

Beer is consistently of a high standard which I hope you are finding when your out sampling it! Do get in touch with any comments or feed back.

We have a Halloween Special coming up it will be a surprise and I will post info all about it nearer to Halloween and of course the delicious Dasher's Dinkle will be back at Christmas.

Cheers everyone and I'll be back soon!

The first blog entry - Onwards and Upwards We Are Up and Running

This is the first blog entry. At last Hunter's Brewery is up and running at full capacity. We know have a 5 barrel plant and have a fully automated fermentation process with 6 fermentors. Over the last three months we have been upgrading the fermentation process by commissioning an ICS evo 51 cooler and intigrating it with a master control pannel. This new system has taken away the temperature variation on fermentation. We can now garantee consistancy and quality everytime we brew ale.

We have also repainted and sealed the floor in the brewery and installed a storm drain that has also helped cleanliness in the brewery. This was a massive undertaking as we had to dig three foot of concrete to install the drain. It also looks great as the floor is painted Hunter's Red!

I have also been busy upgrading cask washing as I found the system I previously had was not doing the job. I can now wash four casks at the same time and they are spotless inside using half the water and half the time.

It seems investment in the brewery is never ending I have also just purchased another 100 9 gallon casks from hereford casks so I can build on my new costomer base.

This year we are also on the SIBA list with Gold 4.8%, Pheasant Plucker 4.3% and Crack Shot 3.8% so please try us and hopefully be impressed.
