Welcome to Hunters Brewery.

Hunters Brewery, Ipplepen, is situated in the heart of the Teignbridge countryside, in beautiful Devon. The photo above is the view from our brewery at Bulleigh Barton Farm. Hunter's Brewery was established in September 2008.

It all started after a bad week at work, Paul started to seriously think about this long held dream of becoming a master brewer and starting a micro-brewery. For many months he investigated buying existing breweries, but he soon realised that he would be happier starting his own with his stamp on it.

After many ups and downs we are now producing a wide range of cask and bottled ales. We direct deliver from Exeter down to Plymouth every week and have the odd trips further a field. Our aim is always to stay a local brewery within the South West. We aim to provide top quality ales using the finest local ingredients which means you will enjoy consistent ales of a really high standard. We are passionate about customer service and always go the extra mile to provide the help and support our pubs and customers need.

Within our web site you will find information on our Ales, and our journey on the set up and brewing of the ale itself. Setting the brewery up in a recession has been a real challenge, and we have encountered various set back’s over the past 5 years but this last year has seen a huge growth and along the way we are gaining some very loyal customers. We were lucky to be sucessful in recieving some money from The Rural Enterprise Grant towards our new automated bottling plant for more info on the support from EU/Defra/HotSWLEP and DCC please follow the link http://ec.eurpoa.eu/agriculture/rurdev/indexen.htm

Recently you may have seen us on The Fixer with Alex Polizzi catch it on BBC iplayer. There is lot's more to the Hunter's story and we are busy building a new website that reflects where we are to date. Watch this space.

You will find information on availability in our stockists section. Please enjoy our web site, any feedback is always welcome.
